Taiseer Al Jassam is a Saudi Arabian footballer. He currently plays for Al Ahli.
Career
Al Jassam helped his team win this year’s Crown Prince Cup by scoring a goal in the final, before being loaned to Al Gharafa. He made a quick impact with the Qatar League runners-up as he scored a goal and created another in the Emir Cup before returning to Al Ahli at the end of the tournament. Al Jassam was also on target in the 2005 AFC Champions League before joining the national team two years ago.
He also participated in the 2009 Gulf Cup of Nations for Saudi Arabia national football team and the Suadis reached the final against Oman national football team. However, Al-Jassam's shot was wide of the post in the penalty shoot-out, the match ending 0-0, ultimately giving Oman the trophy by winning the penalties 6-5. He also scored a goal against Syria national football team in the 2011 Asian Cup, with Saudi Arabia losing 1-2. Saudi Arabia did not collect any points so went out in the group stage.[1]
